All classes are held at the Michigan Athletic Club, 2900 Hannah Blvd, East Lansing MI.

Price is $135.00 per person for any one of the TEN week classes.

Dancing is fun and a way to meet others.

Dancing is great exercise!

Dancing is a whole-body workout that’s actually fun. It’s good for your heart, it makes you stronger, and it can help with balance and coordination. A 30-minute dance class burns between 130 and 250 calories, about the same as jogging

Dancing keeps your brain sharp.

Dancing improves brain function and boosts memory. Several studies have shown that dancing is linked to a reduced risk of dementia. In a study by researchers at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, they found that dancingis associated with 76% reduced risk of dementia among the participants.

Dancing is a way to reduce stress.

Like any other form of cardio exercise, dancing seems to have mood-enhancing benefits. Dancing causes your body to release endorphins — chemicals in the brain that act as natural painkillers — and also improve the ability to sleep, which in turn reduces stress.
